You went to school together, worked together, played on the same team, lived nearby, or just ended up hanging around.

Somewhere along the way, that can change. Friendships become harder to start, harder to maintain, and sometimes strangely difficult to deepen beyond casual conversation.

Has that been true for you? What makes it easy or difficult for you to form a genuinely close friendship with another man?

And maybe the bigger question: what do you actually want from male friendship now that you didn’t think much about when you were younger?
